Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acupuncturist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing acupuncture treatments and providing holistic care to our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) principles and techniques, excellent patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient consultations to assess medical history, symptoms, and concerns.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on TCM principles.
- Perform acupuncture treatments using sterile, single-use needles.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Educate patients about their conditions and the benefits of acupuncture.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Adhere to all safety and hygiene standards.
- Stay current with developments in acupuncture and TCM through continuing education.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:
- Required Master’s degree or higher in Acupuncture or Traditional Chinese Medicine.
- Required Valid acupuncture license in the state of Maryland.
- Required Certification from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathy and compassion for patients.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and patient trust
- Preferred Experience in a multidisciplinary clinic setting.
- Preferred Additional certifications in related modalities
- Preferred 3 years of clinical experience as an acupuncturist
- Preferred Knowledge of Western medical practices and the ability to integrate them with TCM.
- Bilingual - Spanish or ASL a plus
