Trigger point therapy is a type of massage therapy that focuses on identifying and releasing trigger points, which are hyper-irritable spots in the muscle or fascia (the connective tissue surrounding muscles). These trigger points, sometimes called "muscle knots," can cause pain not only in the immediate area but also in other parts of the body, a phenomenon known as referred pain. Through almost painless techniques, we work the knots and relieve the pain. 

Trigger point therapy is often used to treat conditions like tension headaches, myofascial pain syndrome, and chronic pain disorders. It's also commonly integrated into other forms of massage therapy and physical therapy.
