Soft-Stretch Release Techniques (SRT for short) is a gentle and slow form of stretch that works to relax the nervous system allowing for deeper release of tension, fascia, and muscular system. The techniques provide a supportive approach that enables the nervous system to move from a fight-flight-or-freeze mode to a rest-and-relax state. This improves range of motion and decreases chronic pain. This is a great modality for chronic pain sufferers and people with autoimmune issues.
