At The Healing Storm Holistic Wellness, our Assisted Stretch Therapy sessions are designed to help you move more freely, reduce muscular tension, improve flexibility, and support overall physical wellness. Unlike traditional stretching performed on your own, assisted stretching allows a trained practitioner to gently guide your body through specific movements and positions that help lengthen muscles, mobilize joints, and release restrictions that may be limiting comfort and movement.
Our approach combines principles and techniques inspired by fascia stretching, slow stretch release, and table-based Thai stretching methods. This integrated style allows us to address not only muscle tightness but also the connective tissue system, helping to improve mobility, posture, circulation, and body awareness. Every session is customized to your unique needs, whether you are an athlete seeking improved performance, an office worker experiencing stiffness from prolonged sitting, or someone simply looking to move with greater ease and comfort.
Unlike aggressive stretching approaches that can leave the body feeling strained, our sessions emphasize gentle, mindful movement and gradual release. The goal is to encourage the body to relax into each stretch, allowing muscles and fascia to respond naturally while helping to reduce tension patterns that may contribute to discomfort or restricted movement.
